Oliver Beckmann
Oliver G. Beckmann was graduated from Ithaca College in 1999 with a BA in Liberal Arts, and further graduated from New York Maritime College in 2005 with an MS in International Marine Transportation. Oliver’s sailing experience was served on coastal tugboats for United Newport Marine Towing where he started as an OS, and left as Captain. From there he managed the domestic trucking, airfreight and rail program for Saks Fifth Avenue, and subsequently IPI logistics USA. Oliver has spent the last 10+ years in the ship brokerage sector with a predominant focus on dirty petroleum products. Oliver is a senior freight broker and partner within Bluepoint Maritime LLC.
Dave Dos Santos
David graduated from Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 2005 with a B.S. in Marine Transportation and a USCG Third Mate Unlimited Tonnage License. Prior to Joining Bluepoint Maritime in June 2015, his shoreside experience includes Operations Manager with Chemical Tanker owners/pools as well as Operations Manager for CPP/DPP broker shops.
